Vanilla Basil Watermelon Slushie
Fresh Watermelon, Vanilla, and Basil Give The Classic Slushie A Serious Upgrade!
Summer is here and what a better way to celebrate than with a fresh slushie? Cold watermelon, a kick from basil and mint, and vanilla seeds add glamour to a classic slushie. We think this is wonderful on its own but have been known to use it as a cocktail base and add a bit of alcohol. It goes great with vodka, with tequila, white rum, or even with gin for a cheeky gin fizz.
It really doesn't get much easier than this single-step recipe. You just grab those delicious summer ingredients, toss them in a blender, pour it into a cup, sip it down, and try to avoid the brain-freeze!
Cheers!
