Hot Ginger Tea Made With Powdered Ginger
It’s no secret that ginger is excellent for gut health. Ginger beverages are one of the first natural remedies folks reach for when they are feeling a little queasy, after all. The suggested health benefits of ginger move far beyond gastrointestinal, though, and range from general immune therapy support to regulating blood pressure.
You don’t need to be feeling under the weather or battling more serious health issues to experience the benefits of ginger, though. Ginger tisanes are one of the most popular herbal teas imbibed around the world because they are comforting, delicious, and fantastic at keeping ailments at bay.
How to Make a Hot Ginger Beverage with Powdered Ginger
Whether you are looking for a healthy beverage or a comforting warm-up, hot ginger tisanes are a perfect choice and can be so easy to make—especially if you use a high-quality ground ginger. Typically, ginger will be paired with a citrus like lemon or orange but we spruced ours up even more by incorporating apples. We think you are going to love it.
Note: As the recipe suggests, this is a wonderful warm ginger beverage but it is equally delicious when served chilled. We like to make a large batch in the evening and sip on a warm cup of it to wind down. We then keep the remainder in the refrigerator to serve over ice and sip throughout the day.
