I was completely unfamiliar with vanilla as a dry product.. After receiving the vanilla powder I used it according to information I had read prior to purchasing your brand. I have as yet not come to a definitive decision whether this form of vanilla is in itself a reason to stop using common vanilla extract. Time will tell.
