If you are a fan of pesto and eggs, this recipe is the one for you! Pesto eggs became a viral dish on the internet as it is very easy to make and with ingredients lying around the pantry. You need to do little more than heat up a couple of spoonfuls of pesto in a hot pan and to crack some eggs. Sprinkle everything in flake sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper and you've got yourself a wonderful Italian-flavored breakfast or brunch. It is best served over crusty bread or sourdough, if available. The pesto adds a massive flavor boost to traditional fried eggs.

Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoon green pesto
- pinch of flake sea salt
- pinch of freshly cracked black pepper
Procedure
- Add the pesto to a non-stick skillet and heat over medium heat.
- Once hot, crack the eggs on top and cook to desired doneness; we prefer over medium.
- Sprinkle with flake sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper on top; serve on toasted bread.
