Papua New Guinea Unclassified Vanilla Beans
Shorter than average vanilla Tahitensis from Papua New Guinea (PNG). These vanilla beans meet neither gourmet vanilla nor extract grade standards for vanilla beans, due to the smaller size of the vanilla pods.
These vanilla beans are the most economical choice for making vanilla extract and other infusions. They have no official classification of their own but are often referred to as Class C vanilla beans. Unclassified vanilla beans are only sold by weight for customers looking to make vanilla extract to scale and at a reduced cost because the beans do not come in a uniform size.
*These vanilla beans have been certified kosher and are non-GMO, all-natural, and gluten free.

Excellent Vanilla Beans
The beans smell terrific. I have had them soaking in vodka for 6 weeks. They need more time. The previous batch was excellent. I have recommended this process and Slo Food Group to may friends.
Just Started Making Vanilla Extract
Slofoodgroup made it easy to understand what to buy to start making my own vanilla extract. I'm hoping it turns out great.
Wonderful!
